Massachi Industries is a dynamic real estate development firm focused on augmenting the built environment through projects that push the boundaries of design, innovation and inclusion.
There's been a paradigm shift in the world - consumers and tenants want more. They are much more than simply tenants; they are influencers and change agents. Spaces can't be static. Daily routines are no longer routine. The lines between work, home and leisure are more blurred than ever. Spaces that work are multi-faceted and progressive, featuring programming tailored to time and occasion. As such, Massachi Industries embraces diverse concepts which foster a sense of community and inclusion as the firm curates and partners with visionary architects and interior designers to create unique residential, hospitality, and commercial developments.
Founded by Alex Massachi, the company brings together a cohesive symmetry of ideas and perspectives that flows between investment and development. Massachi's real estate expertise includes sourcing deals through proprietary relationships, detailed project planning and underwriting, obtaining complex and oftentimes discretionary land-use entitlements, project budgeting and design coordination during pre-construction, third-party general contractor administration and robust business plan execution. While the principal strategy of Massachi Industries is the sponsorship of development deals, the firm also engages in joint venture partnerships with institutional investors, equity placements in core-plus, value-add and opportunistic real estate deals, as well as provides fee-based development (consulting) services to select clientele.
As of the fourth quarter 2020, the firm, alongside its institutional partners, is involved in a handful of urban, infill projects that collectively add over a million square feet of mixed-income housing to gateway markets.
